How to choose a cuff for your patient monitor or professional blood pressure monitor

1)   Single Hose or double hose

Most monitor use single hose cuff because it is more cost effective and easy to change. However some monitor needs double hose cuff. Please check monitor determine how much hose with the cuff.

2)   Bladder or Bladderless.

Bladder cuff comes in two pieces; The external nylon cuff and internal PVC air bladder with hose. Bladder cuff looks bit bulky, but can be repaired if only external cuff or internal bladder was damaged. The bladderless cuff makes cuff and bladder into one piece. It makes the cuff more compact.
