    easy to use

  2. Extremely Satisfied with the PC-80B Color 5 Star Review

Posted by on 21st Jun 2014

Reviewed all models and sources for ECG monitors that I could find since I have A-fib, have had one cardiac ablation and am trying to decide whether or not to have another one. The many device reviews by James Grier of North Dakota State U. (Google for them) were the best I found and were highly complimentary of this device. My 2 weeks' experience with the device have been excellent. VERY easy to use, supplied computer software is outstanding, and the pulse measurement options are amazing. Have shown it to a cardiac nurse (who wants one now) and my cardiologist wants to see it at my next appointment. Finally, the folks at BP Monitor Depot had by far the best price for the PC-80B that I could find and I received it in only three days with free shipping. This has got to be the best value personal ECG monitor out there. Absolutely a 5 Star rating.

    Received my monitor this week.
    excellent service, best web site
    very easy to use
I need to order the adhesive patches, since the suction cups are not reliable
This ECG has very advance features,a real bargain. Also, very portable.
Since I have medical training, it has been a quick learning experience

  5. Device, Software and Customer Service Excellent 5 Star Review

Posted by on 27th Feb 2013

This is my third review. My first rated the device, excellent by the way. My second was a follow up but I had a problem getting the software to accept my data. After several email exchanges with Warren at customer service I finally figured out that I had loaded the wrong software. The disk has both ECG Viewer for use with the PC-80B and ECG Manager intended for some other ECG devices. After I loaded the correct software I can easilly download data via the USB cable or the SD card.
So my final evaluation, 5 Stars for the ECG monitor, the software and especially the customer service.

  6. Excellent Device - Jury Still Out on Software 4 Star Review

Posted by on 18th Feb 2013

My previous review dated 14 Feb 2013 described how pleased I am with this device and I still am. The photos you see on the internet don't do justice to how crisp and clear the display is. It is truly excellent. I get very solid readings from both the chest method and the 3 lead method. I use the device to try to determine what is causing my occasional irregular heartbeat. Since my previous review I tried to link the device to my computer using the supplied software and USB connecting cable. The software and USB driver loaded fine but when I try to download the data I get an error message "Fail to Connect the Device". I have tried it on a Vasta as well as an XP computer and both gave the same error message. I contacted Blood Pressure Monitor Depot and they are checking on the problem. Hopefully I'll get it working soon and will update this review accordingly. I will say that BPMD folks have been great to work with and have responded to my email inquiries promptly.

  7. Excellent Device - Great Value 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Feb 2013

After reading all the reviews I could find on ECG monitors I chose the PC-B (C) because of all the included accessories and couldn't be happier. The device arrived in 3 days and is in every way better than I expected. The leather case is excellent and is needed as I bring my device along and check it during the day. I use the leads and keep them attached. I can then just plug the leads into the device and check my ECG in about 1 minute. The display is extremely clear and detailed, much higher resolution than expected. Haven't tried the software yet but it comes with a USB cable. The manual is obviously translated to English but I had no problem understanding the details. Overall an excellent device and value.

  8. Very pleased with monitor 5 Star Review

Posted by on 9th Jan 2013

Just got the monitor this week but so far I am very pleased with it. Easy to use. Easy to see and read the screen. I am a nurse and the monitor is just what I was looking for. I just want a basic review of the pts cardiac status, in the field.
